N: Good afternoon. What is your name and where do you live?

A: Good afternoon. My name is ... I live in ...

N: Why in winter do we have a dry wind in Tokyo?

A: Well... It's because the wind comes from northern area and hits the mountains and causes a lot of snow. After that this wind becomes very dry.

N: What should I do when the earthquake occurs?

A: In that case, as soon as the earthquake occurs, you have to hide yourself under the table or look for a wide place to escape from the falling things.

N: What is typhoon? When does it hit Japan?

A: Typhoon is a tropical storm which causes strong wind and a lot of rain. It hits Japan during summer from July to September. It usually hits Japan 3-4 times.

N: What is enka? What is the difference between enka and pop songs?

A: Enka is Japanese folk songs. Enka is very popular among elderly people. Enka is more emotional than pop songs.

N: Were there any female rulers in Japan? What do you think of a woman becoming an emperor?

A: There were no female rulers..., no, there were about 8 empresses in Japanese history. I think both men & women should be allowed to be emperor or empress.

N: What is Geisha? What is the difference among geisha, maiko, and geiko?

A: Geisha is a performer of singing and dancing. Some foreigners misunderstand geisha as an prostitute, but they are not. Maiko is an apprentice of geisha. They train for a certain period and become a geisha. And their appearances and costumes are different.

N: What is the most famous type of butsuzo?

A: Well, there are various type of buzsuzo, such as statue of bodhisattva... but the most famous one is the statue of Buddha, like a big Buddha in Kamakura and Nara.

N: What is the best electric shop in Akihabara?

A: Laox? There are many shops in Akihabara and I am not quite sure. I have to check.

N: What else are there in Akihabara?

A: There are many maid cafes and butler cafes in Akihabara.

N: What is a maid cafe?

A: A maid cafe is a cafe where pretty girls wearing pretty costumes are serving you. Also a butler cafe is the place where gook looking men would serve you as a butler. I am very curious about this butler cafe.
