会場は京都、試験時間は15:00-17:00。試験官は日本人女性と外国人女性の2人。

N: What is your name? Where do you live?

N: How long did it take to get here?

N: Could you tell me what is maiko or geisha or geinin?

N: What is geigi?

N: Do you know the statue of Buddha in Todaiji temple?

N: What is a statue of Buddha?

N: What is Bosatsu?

N: Tell me the alignment of a statue of Bosatsu.

N: What will you do when an earthquake occurs?

N: What will you do when it occurs while you are outside of a building?

N: When typhoons hit Japan?

N: What do you do when a typhoon comes?

N: Who are female Emperors in ancient Japan?

N: How many female Emperors were there in Japan?

N: Who was the latest?

N: What is enka?

N: Why do you want to be a tour guide?

試験を終えて

There were no questions in Japanese. All the questions were asked by the American examiner. The examiners sometimes talked to each other. Answers were often cut in the middle of explanations. The American examiner didn’t smile at all. The Japanese examiner smiled and nodded at me on several occasions. Interviews were heard by the other examinees of the same group from outside the room.
