J: Come in, thank you for waiting for such a long time. You can put your bags here if you like.

N: Have a seat.

A: Thank you.

N: What is your name?

A: My Name is xxxx xxxx

N: Where do you live?

A: I live in Shibuya-ward which is the center of Tokyo. It takes four minutes from Shinjuku Station by the Oedo line.

N: Do you work around in the area?

A: No, I am not working at the moment. I am studying to be a tour guide.

N: Where should I go to buy for shopping?

A: If you want to buy souvenir, you should go to Harajuku. In Harajuku, there is a very famous souvenir shop called “Oriental Bazaar”. (例をあげなくっちゃ、ダメですね。緊張しちゃって、本当は for example, sake set, post card or ukiyoe paintingsとか言わなくっちゃいけないのに、完全に外人試験官に飲み込まれてしまった。)If you want to buy PC-related goods game software, or digital camera, you should go to Shinjuku or Akihabara. There is very famous electric appliance shop called Yodobashi camera.

N: Do they have duty-free service?

A: I am not sure about it. But there must be something like that.

N: Do you think tourism is important for Japan?

A: Yes, because we have many beautiful places, historical places. However, compared to other country, for example, Korea, the number of tourists is really small in Japan.

N: What is the reason for small number of tourists?

A: I think the prices are high, for example, hotel accommodations, foods. Also we do not have much signs written in English or other foreign languages.

N: What is the star festival?

A: It is held on July 7th. According to a Chinese legend, the two stars can meet only on that day. On the rest of the days of the year, they are separated by milky way.

People decorate bamboo branches. We usually write romantic messages on a rectangular shape of paper and tied onto the bamboo branches. Because it is related to the two stars.

N: Did you like the festival a lot when you were a child?

A: Yes, I liked a lot. Because it is a romantic festival.

N: When is the best season to come to Japan?

A: Honestly, every season has the charm. However, spring is the best season since it is not too cold, not too hot. In spring time, we have cherry blossoms. Businesses and schools start from spring. So people’s minds are also fresh. Spring is the time for people to meet new people. That is why spring is the best season.

N: Do you really like spring?

A: Yes, I like. I like cherry blossoms. They are beautiful.

N: I would like to go to reasonable restaurant.. Could you recommend me one?

A: You should go to Izakaya which is Japanese tavern. They have variety of foods, such as raw fish called sashimi, broiled chicken called yakitori, fried noodles.

N: What is the cheap food? How much is it?

A: For example, broiled chicken called yakitori is about 200 yen.

N: Oh, that’s is really cheap.

A: Yes, but it is delicious.

去年とは打って変わって、とっても基本中のキな問題だったので、思い返してみると、情報が足りなかったり、今は後悔で一杯です。
