(1) 試験会場到着から試験室入室までの手順
受付開始時刻までは1階ロビーで待機。
受付開始になると2Fに案内され、受験票と身分証明書を見せて受付完了。
13：25まで待機室で待機。座席指定なし。
13：25になると待機室に移され指定座席に着席して待機。ここで受験上の注意事項の
説明。
14：00少し前から４つのグループに分けられ、１５分ごとに面接室前に案内され、部屋
の前で待機。
面接時間になると日本人面接官が出て来て「どうぞ」と面接室に通される。

日本人面接官：女性、４０代
外国人面接官：女性、５０代、米国人

私： Good afternoon.
日本人面接官：Sit down, please.
私： Thank you.
日本人面接官：First please tell your name, birth date, name of the city you currently live in English.
私： I am Kiyoshi Amano. I was born on August 22, 1954. I live in Higashi-kagawa prefecture ... Higashi-kagawa city, Kagawa prefecture.
外国人面接官： I will give you a card. Three topics are written on it. Please choose one of them in 30 seconds, and make a presentation about it in two minutes.

I would like to talk about Dejima. Dejima is a small island in Nagasaki located in western Kyushu. In the Edo period Japan had a national seclusion policy and the Tokugawa government prohibited trade with foreign counties except the Netherlands and Korea. They were afraid of being colonized by Western powers. And the trade area was limited in this small island Dejima. Foreigners who visited Japan for trade were not allowed to go out of the island. But in the 18th centuries the 8th shogun Yoshimune promoted western scientific studies, He thought modern scientific studies are important to develop the countries, and many scientific documents were imported from the Netherlands through Dejima. They contributed a lot to the development of science in Japan, and culture in Nagasaki prospered. As a result, there are many attractive sightseeing spots in Nagasaki today. 海沿いや渓谷沿いの温泉地の多くには露天風呂があります。露天風呂では自然を見ながら、また星空を眺めながらゆったりと入浴を味わうことができます。最近では、温泉地だけではなく街中にも露天風呂のある入浴施設を見かけることが多くなりました。

まったくありませんでした。
(13) 終了後、退出してから解散までの手順
再び待機室に移され、全員の面接が終わるまで待機。１５時に解散。
(14) 全体を通しての感想など
・規定の試験項目以外のQ＆Aや会話は全くなく、突っ込みや追加の質問もなく私の答えにすぐ Thank you で終わったので、これで大丈夫かと不安になるくらいあっさりしていました。
・プレゼンテーション後の質問で、出島が現在どうなっているか知らず、咄嗟に当時の施設が保存されているなどと答えましたが、全くの嘘でした。後にブラタモリで出島の番組を見たことがあることを思い出しましたが、面接中は完全にわすれていました。
・英訳の日本文はメモを取るのが間に合わず慌てて書きましたが、乱雑すぎて自分でも何と書いているか分からず困りました。記憶で英訳したものの、かなり順序が前後したように思います。
