N：What is your name and where do you live?
A：I'm ＿＿＿＿＿＿. I live in Toda city in Saitama prefecture.
J：How do you get here today? And how many hours does it take ?
A：I go to Toda station of JR Saikyo line, get on the train, go to Shibuya station, and change Denentoshi line, go to Sankenjaya station and walk through here. It takes about one hour.

N：Which Japanese story do you like ?
A：I prefer 「Taketorimonogatari(竹取物語)」. This is the oldest Japanese folklore. The story is about a beautiful princess who comes from space, especially moon. Many men including noble people are attracted by her. But she refuses all offerings from men and eventually goes back to moon. It represents the essential situation between man and woman. (試験官ら笑う)

N：What is the difference between shrine and temple.
A：Shrine is the building for Buddhism. Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Shrine is the building for Shinto. It has the specific open gate which has two vertical pillars. On the other hand, temple is the building for Buddhism. Of course, there are statues of Buddha inside.

N：Which hot springs do you recommend within Tokyo 23 wards ?
A：I recommend the hot spring in Odaiba area. The hot spring is good and there are many attractions there.

J： (日本語で) あなたがガイドになったら、旅行客に対してどのような配慮をしますか？
A：実務的な側面では、目的地までの交通手段を綿密に調べて、遅滞なく移動出来るようにします。
そして、旅行客が正確な知識を持てるように努力します。勿論、景色などを見て貰うことが最も重要ですが、誤った認識を持って貰っては困ります。多少時間を割いてでも、目的地に関する説明をするようにします。
