通訳ガイド(通訳案内士)2次試験レポート

(1)試験会場到着から試験室入室までの手順
13：00-13：25 集合で大きな部屋に集合
（この時間帯に受付を済ませるよう事前のハガキに指示有。）
13：30 係の指示に従って、４つのグループにわかれて階段で３F？の中規模の教室に移動し、番号順に着席。
黒板の注意事項：通信機器の使用は×。電子を含む辞書は使用可。ドリンクのみ可。トイレに行くときは挙手して係員が同行。
14：30 グループ単位で呼ばれて席を立ち、面接部屋前にそれぞれ着席して待機。
各部屋の前に椅子が2席（待つ人用）あり、一人ずつ各部屋の前に配置される。
係の人から、「今、前の方が受験しているので、中の試験官から指示があるので、ここで待っていてください」と指示有り。
14：40 日本人のアシスタント？の方がドアを開けてくださり、 日本語で説明を受けた。教室には2席あって、手前にかばんを置いた。
そのあと日本語で、通訳についての説明がありました。
J:「これから私が日本語で話す文章を聞いて英語に訳してください。すでにお手持ちの筆記用具を用いて、メモを取っていただいて構いません。通訳は1分程度でお願いします。」
そのあとすぐに日本語が始まりました。 、
(2) 試験官の性別、推定年齢、（外国人面接官はアクセントから判断して）国籍
外国人：30代くらいの男性
おそらくイギリス人
日本人：40代ぐらいの通訳案内士風の女性。

J: 日本人の女性に名前と生年月日を英語で聞かれた

山梨県は日本で一番ブドウの生産高が高い県として有名です。
それは夏の日照時間が長く、雨が少ないことによります。
これらすべての条件が備わっているがゆえに山梨県ではブドウの
生産高が多いのです。

Yamanashi prefecture is famous for its production of grapes at the largest volume. Yamanashi prefecture has shorter day light time in summer, smaller rainfalls. Due to its perfect condition of these, Yamanashi can produce large amount of grapes.

Obon is one of the most important festivals in Japan. It is from 12th to 15th of August. In Obon Japanese people do several things. It is said that the souls of the dead to return to former home. We hang lantern so that the souls of the dead might not get lost. We do bon fire to welcome the souls and perform bon dancing
We take longer vacation during the period because it is difficult to take long vacation.

私：No, many company take holidays, but banks and municipal offices are still open.
N：Do Japanese still do bon fire at their house?
私：They used to do bon fire using a piece of woods at their house, but now there are few houses do bonfire at their house.
N： Do many Japanese take vacation and go to their home?
A： Yes, many people take vacation and go back to their home town and call the Buddhist priest do special service.
N： What does the Buddhist priest do in your house?
A： We ask them to read sutras.
N： Where can I see bon dancing?
A： Shrine set up bon dancing in the precincts. If you ask someone how to perform dancing, you can join in the circle
N： Can I just watch?
A： Yes you can just watch. It’s good.
N： that’s all.
A： Thank you very much.

(13) 全体を通しての感想など
通訳、プレゼンいずれもそれほど難しいお題ではなかったけど、緊張のせいか思うように進められず、残念です。いろいろ、ああいえばよかったとか、通訳のメモとりで失敗してしまったとか、いろいろ思い起こしますが、終わってしまったことはどうしようもないので、とにかく結果を待つだけです。
