通訳ガイド(通訳案内士)2次試験レポート

(1) 試験会場到着から試験室入室までの手順
10：00-10：25 集合で大きな部屋に集合 （この時間帯に受付を済ませるよう事前のハガキに指示有。）
10：30 係の指示に従って、大きな教室に移動し、番号順に着席。黒板の注意事項：通信機器の使用は×。電子を含む辞書は使用可。ドリンクのみ可。トイレに行くときは挙手して係員が同行。
11：30 グループ単位で呼ばれて席を立ち、面接部屋に移動。
12：00 各部屋の前に椅子が1席（待つ人用）あり、一人ずつ各部屋の前に配置される。係の人から、「ここで待っていてください」と指示有り。
12：00 外国人の面接官が「Hello」とドアを開けてくださり、教室へ。日本人の面接官が「Please put your bag on this seat and have a next seat please」荷物を横に置いてくださいと言われた。
(2) 試験官の性別、推定年齢、（外国人面接官はアクセントから判断して）国籍
外国人：40代くらいの長身の男性。ドイツ？。笑顔で話しかけてくれる優しい印象。
日本人：40-50代の女性。笑顔はないが優しい印象。
(3) 自己紹介等のウオーミングアップのやり取り
J: 「Please tell us your name and birthday」名前と生年月日を聞かれた。
J: 「Where do you live」住んでいる場所を聞かれた。
(4) 通訳の日本文
パクチーは独特な香りがあり好き嫌いが分かれる。近年、東南アジア料理で人気で、スーパーなどでも売っている。以前は中国語？名、英語名で呼ばれていたが、今ではパクチーとタイ語で呼ばれている。

“Pakuchi is a kind of leaf with unique flavor. In recent years, it became popular food introduced from Easternsouth Asian countries, and is sold in supermarket. It has been called in Chinese? and English name before, but today people call it Pakuchi in Thailand language.
こんな感じで答えました。好き嫌いが分かれるを訳し忘れました。東南アジアSouthEast Asiaを間違えました。タイ語がThaiと訳せませんでした。

I would like to talk about Summer festival.
Summer festival is one of the most popular festivals in Japan. People wear the casual kimono called Yukata and Japanese sandals called Geta, and get together with friends and colleagues at Summer festival. There are many kinds of festival foods such as grilled chicken, cotton candy, and some games are popular among children. Not only younger children but also adults enjoy eating, drinking and talking with local community. In Japan, fireworks displays and Bon dancing are another attractions in Summer festival.
If you come to Japan in summer season, I recommend that you go to local summer festival!

N：What is Bon dancing? Could you tell me more?
私：It is also held in Summer festivals. People dance and line a circle around the main stand called Yagura. It is held during the Bon season in middle of August.
N：Nebuta…is also summer festival?
私：Yes, Nebuta festival is held in Aomori prefecture and one of the three most famous summer festival in Tohoku region, Northern Japan. It features brilliant and huge festival cart going around the city.
N: What is your recommendation about Aomori?
私: If you go to Aomori, I recommend that you go near Tazawako Lake.十和田湖を田沢湖と間違えて言ってしまいました・・・。You can enjoy rich nature and beautiful river path.奥入瀬渓流のことがうまく説明できませんでした・・・。
N: If I come to Japan in summer season, are there anything should be careful?
私: Japanese summer is hot and humid. You should not walk for a long time under sunlight, should be careful about getting heatstroke.

(13) 全体を通しての感想など
外国人の面接官はとても親切で、こちらのつまらない話をWow, it’s interestingと言って聞いてくれました。 笑顔、アイコンタクト、沈黙NGは守れたと思います。
プレゼンの反省点は具体的な話、日本ならではの面白い話ができなかったことです。話のネタを面白く考える余裕がありませんでした。日本の歴史や宗教、食文化など、自分が突き詰めて学んだことが一つも披露できず、悔しい想いでいっぱいです。
これが今の自分のプレゼンレベルだと思うので、この反省点は今後に生かしたいと思います。
最後に。 講座では沢山の刺激をもらえました。私の拙い英語を聞いてくれた先生、クラスの方々、本当にありがとうございました。
