Kawagoe is called "Small Edo". Why?

A: In Kawagoe, a lot of historical buildings are preserved and its landscape looks like that in Edo - period.

Why do the Japanese take their work seriously?

A: I'm not sure, but... It might be because of the influence by the Confucianism, Confucianism told people to obey their boss or the social system to which they belong.

What is the significance for Japan being an island-country?

A: Well.. the national isolation policy by the Tokugawa Shogunate made the Japanese introverted.
For example, even in the current Japanese society, a lot of people learn English, but actually they don't dare to speak it.

どういう点に気をつけてガイドをしていきたいと思っていますか？

A: 日本に来る外国人観光客の数は政府の目標より少ないと聞いていますから、 同じお客様にもう一度日本に来てみたいと思ってもらえるようなガイドになりたいです。

質問5（日本語）
具体的には？

A: 例えば、浅草が気に入ったお客様には、京都のもっと古いお寺の建物をおすすめしたり、秋葉原が気に入ったお客様には、大阪にも日本橋という電気街があります、 と伝えたりして、東日本に来た方が今度は西日本にも行きたい、というように、別の地域にも興味を持ってもらえるように頑張りたいと思います。

試験を終えて

本番の試験では相当緊張してしまったので、結果はわかりませんが、貴校に感謝いたします。
