900～920受付
受付で番号カード[○－△]＊を首にかける。
＊カードの番号は[2桁の教室の番号（1から16）]－[試験の順番の番号（①～⑥？）]
待合室で着席後は、通信機器電源を切、トイレは係官とともに。
試験開始前に1組（16人）ずつ教室前のいすに移動。

日本は四方を海に囲まれています。日本の国土の７０％は山地です。川は狭く急です。川が海に流れ込むあたりには平地があります。

Japan is surrounding by ocean. 70% of the land is mountain. The rivers are narrow and steep. Where the rivers meet the ocean, there are plain lands.

I chose “Ukiyoe.” Ukiyoe is Japanese woodblock printing. When they were found by westerners Ukiyoe pictures were used as wrapping papers for exporting potteries. The unique design and colors influenced impressionist artists. Among them, Vincent Van Goh was influenced by Ukyoe pictures and he used Ukiyoe pictures in his picture as a background. When we found Ukiyoe in his picture we were so pleased. Some westerners came to Japan and got a good collection of Ukyoe. So the good collections are out of Japan. One of the most famous painters is Katsushika Hokusai. He drew 37 pictures of Mt. Fuji. He drew these pictures in the 18th century in Tokyo.

E: I was a little bit confused. You said Ukiyoe was known in the 20th century but you said Katsushika Hokusai drew his pictures in the 18th century. Why it was known in the 20th century.
A: Yes, they were known to the world in the 20th century. (?)
E: I see. To the world.
A: Yes, in the 18th century, Japan was implemented a seclusion policy. So the export started in 20th century.
E: Officially. (間違いを正してくださいました。)
E: Please tell me another Ukiyoe painter.
A: Utagawa Hiroshige is also famous. He drew 51 pictures of Tokaido Highway.
J: （51と間違えたので、手元の資料をチェックされているようでした。）
E: What does Ukiyoe mean?
A: Ukiyoe literary means floating world picture.
E: Floating world?
A: It has a connotation that nothing changes.
E: Oh “nothing changes?”
A: I am sorry, its “everything changes,” …. floating world means.
E: I see.

ありませんでした。「どんなガイドになりたいですか」の質問もありませんでした。

ありませんでした。
(12) 終了後、退出してから解散までの手順
試験終了後、試験の教室の階の隅の椅子へ。
そこで16人揃うまで待機して、一緒に試験後待合室へ移動。
10時から11時の試験が終了するまで、待合室で待機。飲み物のみＯＫ。11時解散
(13) 全体を通しての感想など
時代や数字の間違いが多すぎました。この試験は知識を問うものではないとはいっても、大事な数字をいくつも間違えてしまい、ガイドの資格なしと判断されるのではないかと不安です。あ、しまったと思った時に訂正するべきだったと後悔しています。英語も単数・複数の不一致等、ポロポロと間違いが目立ちました。これでは許容範囲に入るのかどうか不安です。
試験官の先生方はどちらも優しそうな感じの方でよかったです。ネイティブの男性の先生はハンサムで物腰の優しい方でした。日本人の女性の先生は上品なきれいな方で素敵な人でした。
試験場での移動等はものものしい感じでちょっと怖かったです。
