Currently, in Japan, both Hiragana & Katakana are used as "phonic", I mean "sound" character.
Originally, those were introduced into Japan from China in 2nd or 3rd century.
Those were simplified and developed in Japan originally as a Japanese original characters.

Hokuriku Shinkansen Bullet train is a quite new Shinkansen Network.
That is connected from Tokyo to Hokuriku areas. That is a northern part of Honshu.
That will be started the operation in coming March.
In Japan there are several Shinkansen networks like Tohoku or Tokaido.
Those are quite safe system including not only train but also overhead cables, railroad, signals or other.
That is combinated and packaged system.
Many foreign tourists are hoped to visit Hokuriku areas, because there are so many attractions.
That's all, thank you.

N: You mentioned about the "system". Is that a control system? and is there any difference between the Shinkansen system and other train system like Yamanote-line or commuter train in Tokyo?
A: Actually, those are quite similar. I mean the system is including software and hardware. All the system like Automatic Train Stop system or control system are similar to the system of Yamanote-line. And the most important point is "Education or Training" of drivers.

N: I heard the train is controlled by human manually. Is that true? and is it possible to control the train automatically?
A: Yes it is true. those are controlled by drivers manually. I think it is possible to control the trains by system. But drivers can stop the train more softly and more safely.

N: Are you looking forward to the Hokuriku Shinkansen?
A: Off course, I'm very looking forward to that!

N: How much is the ticket of Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto?
A: I'm not sure the exact fare, but it is about 16 thousand JPY.
