(1)試験会場到着から試験室入室までの手順
15：30-15：55
（この時間帯に受付を済ませるよう事前のハガキに指示有。）
15：25 係の指示に従い、受付（6F）を済ませる。その後、同階の大教室にて番号順に着席。
黒板の注意事項：通信機器の使用は×。電子を含む辞書は使用可。ドリンクのみ可。トイレに行くときは挙手して係員が同行。
16：30以降 番号を呼ばれた人（10人ぐらいの単位）が、適宜小教室に案内され着席して待つ。その後、グループ単位で呼ばれて席を立ち、面接部屋に移動。各部屋の前に椅子が2席（待つ人用）あり、一人ずつ各部屋の前に配置される。日本人の面接官がドアを開け、入室するよう指示。
（試験開始）
日本語で、通訳についての説明あり。
J:「これから私が日本語で話す文章を聞いて日本語に訳してください。横に筆記用具があるので、メモを取っていただいて構いません。通訳は1分程度でお願いします。」
(2) 試験官の性別、推定年齢、（外国人面接官はアクセントから判断して）国籍
外国人：40代くらいの男性。国籍はヨーロッパ系と推察。British Englishではないが、聞き取り易い英語で、笑顔で好印象を与える方。
日本人：40代ぐらいの女性で、厳格さを感じさせつつもあたたかく見守る感じの方。

名前及び出身地を聞かれた。
(4) 通訳の日本文
日本では、お茶を飲む時だけでなく、麺類を食べる時や汁物を飲む時にもわざと音を立てます。これは、主人に対して美味しいという気持ちを伝えるためで、日本では正しいマナーなのです。

In Japan, when we drink tea or soup, and eat noodle, we intentionally make sounds. It might be rude in other countries but in Japan it is not. This is a correct manner to tell a master that the dish is delicious.

In Japan, the New Year is a kind of special days for Japanese. The bad things happened in the past will end, and everything will restart from New Year ’s Day.
福袋 literally means in Japanese, “福”, “Fortune”, “袋”, “bags”. They are sold during the New Year at such as department stores or supermarkets. There are some popular bags. To get these bags, sometimes we have to line long queue, in some occasion, one starts lining from New Year’s Eve.
In the bags, there are several things you can find. Some includes toys for children, some includes clothes for women who like fashion, and some includes foodstuffs for household wives for example. This is a kind of fun during the New Year. When I was a child, my parents kindly lined long queue to get the bag. I and my brother were so excited to see the inside.
Like this, 福袋 is a kind of fun during the special events of the New Year. Thank you.

N：「What is the best thing you got in 福袋 your parents bought for you?」
私：「A balloon. I know this is a small thing but I was glad to get it」
N：「Yes, sometimes small things bring you happiness, do you!」
和やかに進んでいる中、この話題について聞くことがなくなってしまったようで、草津温泉の質問へうつっていきました。
N：「I would like to go to 草津温泉. How can I get there?」
私：「You can take a bus or a car. I think this is the easiest way. I guess it will take two or three hours to reach. In 草津、you can enjoy several types of hot springs. Depend on the 旅館 (traditional Japanese Inn)、you will be able to enjoy different tastes. The place being proud of dishes using local ingredients, you must have wonderful dishes. The other place which has a outdoor bathtub surrounded by nature, you will enjoy the fantastic landscape as well as hot spring.」
N：「Can I know the characteristic of 草津温泉?」
（”湯もみ”や”踊り”を体験できることについての回答を想定していたと思うが、それには言及できず）
私：「hot spring water has some medical effects. It is said some cure or remedy rheumatism or coldness I am also suffering from, for example. This is one of the good things of hot spring.」
N：「Oh, I would like to talk more but it is a time.」
と和やかなムードで終了。

通訳案内士を志望する理由について質問あり。
(12) 終了後、退出してから解散までの手順
「Thank you very much. I enjoyed the interview a lot. ありがとうございました。」とお礼を言い退出。
(13) 全体を通しての感想など
プレゼンで自分の経験（両親が福袋を買ってくれた）という話題に触れたときから、ネイティブの試験官の和やかな態度が増した感じがしました。福袋から他の新年に関する話題に触れていただけたらと思い、「福袋」のテーマを選んだのですが、質疑応答ではプレゼンで選択しなかった草津温泉の話題になってしまい、「湯もみ」に触れられなかったのは残念です。
全体的に、面接自体落ち着いて楽しむことができました。
