（１）試験会場到着から試験室入室までの手順
2015年12月13日（日） 昭和女子大学
13:00-13:15 集合で大きな部屋に集合
13:15 係りの方のターで6Ｆへ行き受付を済ませる。
同じ階の大きな教室に入り、番号順に着席。
13:30 係りの方から注意事項の説明
13:45 10人ぐらいの単位で別の教室に移動
14:05 面接教室の前の椅子で待機。
14:10 アシスタントの方がドアを開けてくださり、英語で案内をされる。
座席が3つあり、真ん中の席に座り、面接が始まる。
(2) 試験官の性別、推定年齢、（外国人面接官はアクセントから判断して）国籍
外国人(Native Speaker) 40代ぐらいの男性 おそらくアメリカ人
日本人(Japanese Assistant) 40代ぐらいの男性 がっちりした体形で、案内時の英語はネイティブ的な発音

N: How are you?
A: I’m fine thank you. How about you?

A: Yes, a little bit.

(4) 通訳の日本文
横に筆記用具があるので、メモを取っていただいて結構です。話すときもメモを見ながらで構いません。 なお、繰り返しませんので良く聞いてください。1分が経過したら打ち切らせていただきます。
それでは始めます。

その量は6,600トンになます。
それが一日で消費されますので、市場は首都圏のダイナックな胃袋という

注記：聞き取るのに必死でこのような内容だったかと思いますが、不正確かと思います。

A: Ojizo-san is guardian deities of children. Shinto is indigenous religion of Japan.
Shinto has many gods and deities and those gods are existed in the mother nature. So we pray to the mountains, pray to the rocks and pray to the rivers.
In the 6th century, Buddhism came to Japan from China through Korea and those two religions amalgamated. So Japanese people have no contradicted feeling to pray both religions. We go to temples to pray and go to shrines at the same time and also to pray ojizo-san too. There are ojizo-san at many places such as the narrow roads or the corner of district.
Japanese activities and behaviors rooted deeply to Buddhism and Shintoism, so it is important to know those religions to understand Japan.

A: Buddhist influenced stronger. Well, actually it is a Buddhist god.
N: I see. Do they protect children?
A: Yes, but rather they ease the deceased children and unborn babies. It’s salvation deities.
N: Oh, I understand. In Kyoto, can I see many ojizo-san?
A: Well I don’t know the exact numbers of ojizo-san but if you go to Kyoto, I recommend that you visit famous temples and shrines.
You can see many ojizo-san at local towns or rural areas
N: That’s I thought. Can I get items relates to ojizo-san at shrines
or temples?
A: No, I don’t think you can get something relates to ojizo-san at those places.
N: I saw these items（手で示す）in shrines or temples. Aren’t not ojizo-san?
A: No, I think it’s talisman covered with clothes and wishes are written
on ii. Ojizo-san is a small statue with round head and red cloth on it.
N: Oh, I see. Where can I see ojizo-san around here?
A: Well, let’s walk together to some temple or shrine. On the way, we may
see ojizo-san, but they are at the corner of the street and maybe very
small so we might miss it
N: OK, thank you very much.
注記：最初のプレゼンテーションが不完全だったために、質疑応答でやっとお地蔵さんを理解してもらえたようでした。なお、単複等の間違いはそのまま表記しました。

(13) 全体を通しての感想など
全体的には予期していたことと言え、やはり緊張していたのか思ったことを上手く表現できませんでした。
通訳問題：
良くても５０点だと思います。
プレゼンテーション：
最初は徳川家康を選ぼうかと思ったのですが、なんとなく話が固くなりそうなので庶民に馴染みのあるお地蔵さんを選択いたしました。
お地蔵さんはどこにでもある仏様で、お寺や宗派とは関係なく、自然の中に溶け込み庶民から愛されている。 普段私たちは仏教だ、神道だと意識することなく、自然と手を合わせる。 そんな行動様式は日本人の自然崇拝と神仏習合が背景にあることを説明したかったのですが、舌足らずでした。 また、前にも書きましたが、プレゼンでお地蔵さんが仏教の神様ということを言い忘れました。 反省することしきりです。
Ｑ＆Ａ：
こちらはお互いに聞き返すこともなく、それなりにスムーズに進行し理解を深めていただけたのではないかとの感触を得ました。
最後に、自分で良かったなと感じている点は、プレゼンテーションもＱ＆Ａもメモを見ることもなく、相手を直視し、笑顔を忘れずに、大きな声でジェスチャーも交えて話ができたことかと思います。
捕らぬ狸の皮算用ではありませんが、総合評価６０点～７０点でも貰えれば、本当に嬉しいのですが、こればかりは相手のあることでもあり人事を尽くして天命を待つ、しかありませんね。
いずれにしても前を向いて進みたいと思います。
