通訳ガイド(全国通訳案内士)2次試験レポート

（1）試験会場から入室までの手続き
昭和女子大学 受付1:00-1:25 試験時間2:00
受付後、１２−１の札を渡される。12教室の1番ということ
*全体待合室（席指定）
６階の階段教室に全員が集められる。ここが一番緊張した。（トイレは係員が誘導してまとまって行く。携帯は置いていく。）
携帯は電源を切る。参考書などは見ても良い。会話禁止。
飲み物は良いが、ガムや飴などを含む食べ物はだめ。
番号ごとに並び、次の教室へ向かう。一列で係員の後を歩く。
*教室待合室（席指定）
12-1だったので1番に試験を受けるので一番前の席に移動するように指示された。
試験会場の前に移動し、席に一人座り声をかけられるのを待つ。もうすぐ試験が終わるかと思うと嬉しくなった。
*試験会場
広い教室の半分を使う。試験管の席に対面して、三つの椅子。左側に用紙とバインダー
鉛筆３本とペン３本
（２）試験管の性別、推定年齢
J:５０代のベテランガイドという感じ。ずっと下を見ていて、厳しく採点していそう。
N:５０代のヒゲモジャのサンタさんのような風貌。和やかで優しい。米国人？
（３）自己紹介等のやり取り
Jから英語で、名前、生年月日、住所を聞かれる。
試験の用紙（A４半分くらいの大きさ）をNの方から手渡しされるので取りに行く。

（６）プレゼンの再現
Kanazawa is a historical city which is located in northern part of Tokyo. It takes around 3 hours by bullet train. It’s very easy to access. There are many traditional places. For example Kenrokuen and Kanazawa castle. Kenrokuen is one of the three most famous Japanese landscape gardens. Two other gardens are Kairakuen, in ibaraki prefecture and Kourakuen, in Okayama prefecture. ここでNがまさかの一言（Oh, in Tokyo, are there any famous gardens?All of three gardens are far from Tokyo!!）プレゼン途中でしたが答えなければと思い、（There are also many traditional gardens in Tokyo.）(笑顔)本題に戻さねばと思い続けた。As for Kairakuen, there is a pond inside of the garden. And famous stone lantern, arched bridge and tea house are situated in the garden. When I visited Kenrokuen, unfortunately it was a rainy day. But even a rainy day, I could enjoy the fantastic landscape garden. If you are interested in Japanese garden, I really recommend that you visit the Kenrokuen. Thank you.

Q:How long does it take to see around Kanazawa?
A: There are many other interesting places in Kanazawa, such as modern museum and other museums. So it takes three or four days to see all of them.(今思えば、能登半島のこととか輪島温泉のことなど周辺の観光地について触れておくべきだった）
Q: Are there any famous food in Kanazawa?
A: Yes. Sushi is very delicious. Kanazawa is faced to the sea of Japan, so there are many fresh fish. I recommend sushi.
（８）英訳の日本文
おせち料理は日本の伝統料理です。伝統的な漆の容器に詰められています。それぞれの食べ物には意味があります。例えば、黒豆は健康、昆布巻きは幸福、えびは長寿を表します。昔は各家庭で作られていましたが、今はデパートや通販で買うことができます。
（９）英訳の再現
Osechiryouri is a Japanese traditional dish. It is in a lacquer wear box. It is a traditional style lunch box. Each ingredient has its meaning. For example, black bean means health, kelp roll means happiness, shrimp means longevity. In the past, osechiryouri was prepared at home, but now we can buy it at a department store or order it on website.

A４半分ぐらいの紙をNから受けとる。
外国からのお客様は夏に来られたのですが、どうしてもおせち料理が食べたいとおっしゃっています。あなたならどうしますか？（条件：おせち料理は夏にはどこにも売っていないので食べられない。）
（１１）やり取り
N: I want to eat osechiryouri！！ (表情豊かにとても食べたそうに言った)
A:I understand your feeling, Osechiryouri is very delicious. But unfortunately it is summer now so we can’t eat it. How about kaisekiryouri? Kaisekiryouri is traditional Japanese dish and you can enjoy a similar taste of osechiryouri.
N: What is kaisekiryouri? I can’t understand.
A:Kaisekiryouri is Japanese course meal. There are fish and boiled vegetable. You can enjoy Japanese traditional meal.
N:How much does it cost?
A:It’s cost around 10000yen, but at luch time you can eat it around 3000yen.
N:Oh, sounds great! Which is better place to eat it, Kyoto or Tokyo?
A:I think Kyoto is the best place. You can enjoy the authentic Japanese dishes in Kyoto. In Tokyo there are many kinds of foods, but Kyoto has longer history than Tokyo.

N: Did you live in abroad?
No, I never lived in abroad(笑) Thank you.
（１３）終了後
教室から出ると、同じフロアの階段よりの所に、ほかの終了者と共に座るよう指示される。
何人か集まると、係員の誘導の従って、先程とは違う教室に移動。皆さん終わった方なのですが、話すことは禁じられているのでシーンとしている。３時ごろまで待たされて解散。
（１４）その他
本当に長い一日でした。緊張はしましたがCELの模擬面接を受けていたので、笑顔で乗り切れたと思います。でもこうして振り返ってみると、果たしてこの答えで良かったのか？複数にsはつけたかなど心配なことがたくさん出てきました。とくにプレゼンの途中で外国人に質問されて、時間の感覚がなくなり2分間話せたのか不安です。でもサンタクロースのような風貌の方で親しみやすかったです。サンタさんをみるたびに今日のことを思い出すでしょう。通信での学習、模擬面接と大変お世話になりました。日本文化のことが深く学べて本当に良かったです。通訳ガイドの資格が取れて仕事をするようになっても、落ちてボランティアガイドを続けることになってもここで学んだことは私の宝です。
