通訳ガイド(全国通訳案内士)2次試験レポート

(1) 試験会場到着から試験室入室までの手順
受付終了後、大教室の「試験前待合室」で待たされました。受験生約50人前後の印象。待っている間に配布されたマウスシールドを装着。その後、試験室3（受験生４人）と試験室４（同）の計８人が、やや小さめの「試験直前待合室」に移動。直前待合室は、試験会場に合わせて、複数設置されていました。その後、一人ずつ呼び出され、試験室の前の椅子で呼ばれるまで待ちました。

男性外国人（推定40代後半～50代前半、米国人か？）
日本人女性（推定40歳前後）

こういったやり取りの後、試験官男がプレゼンテーションのトピックが印刷された紙を五十嵐のもとへ持ってきてくれました。

Ramen is a noodle dish. It was originally imported from China long time ago. Since it was imported to Japan, it was gradually transformed into such taste that the Japanese like very much. As for the soup, there are miso, soy sauce, salty and other tastes. In addition, various kinds of toppings have been developed, including tastily cooked sliced pork pieces. Ramen is loved also by the foreigners abroad and the tourists who visit Japan. For the past several years, in response to the requests from the tourists from Islamic countries who cannot pork or pork related soup, there appear some ramen restaurants that serve halal ramen and they became very popular among the visitors from the Islamic countries.

Q: Which ramen chain restaurant do you like to visit?
A: My favorite ramen chain restaurant is Ippudo. It is originated in Fukuoka prefecture in Kyushu, Western part of Japan. Ippudo’s ramen is famous for the Tonkotsu soup, made from pork bones, and its deep and rich taste is very popular in Japan.

日本人は神社を訪れる時だけでなく、普段からよく手を洗う。これは小学生の時、先生からよく手を洗いなさいと教えられるためだ（？教えられることも一因だ？）。新型コロナウイルスの感染が拡大している現在、手洗いは感染症対策としても有効だ。

The Japanese wash their hands not only when they visit shrines or temples but often in their daily lives. This may be because the Japanese teachers at the elementary schools teach children to wash hands carefully. In the current situation where COVID-19 is widespread, this habit of washing hands often is effective way to prevent further spreading of COVID-19.

(11) 試験官とのrole play応答内容の再現
Oh, I understand how concerned you are. It’s uncomfortable without hand dryer or paper towels. In such case please wave your hands like this（と、手の水を弾き飛ばすようなジェスチャーをしてみせました）. When I forgot to carry my own handkerchief, I do the same way. The hands do not touch anywhere, so they are safe from infection.

Q: When I visit the shrines or temples, isn’t it a problem if my hands are wet?
A: You don’t have to worry about it. The hands get dry soon.
(13) 終了後、退出してから解散までの手順
大教室の「終了後待合室」で約30分間待たされました。その間、アンケートのはがきに記入して提出しました。
(14) 全体を通しての感想など
コロナ関連はやはり出ました。重要な時事問題への備え（日常的な感染防止策も）は必須だと実感させられました。
